Panora Water Utility

The City of Panora Water Utility is responsible for the treatment and distribution of water for the City. The City of Panora operates a surface water plant and treats water directly from the Racoon River. In 2013, a reverse osmosis system was installed which not only helps with the treatment of nitrates in the river, but provides soft water to residents. Staff works diligently each year to detect water leaks, upgrade water lines, and replace out of date meters and hydrants. For water quality questions or concerns please contact Brent.
