The site includes many of the most frequently requested forms and documents and a full city ordinances library. The City of Panora supplies a great deal of information to the public about the community in which we live, but it is not always readily available to everyone. It is our hope that the creation of this site will help make this information more accessible to the residents and visitors of Panora.

CITY OF PANORA ORDINANCES

A copy of the city's ordinances are to be made available to the public according to state regulations. In a continuing effort to keep the residences of Panora informed about the community in which they live, a copy of these documents are now available on-line. Clicking on the newly added menu item (Panora City Code) at the top left of this page will take you to the ordinance section of the website. Adobe reader is required to view these documents. A link is provided to download a free copy of the reader if needed.

ELECTRIC RATE INFORMATION

Due to the necessary electrical upgrades coming in the near future, Panora Municipal Electric would like to recommend a small rate per KW increase. Panora has not received a electrical rate increase since prior to 2002. During this time our demand rates, kilowatt rates and maintenance cost have increased significantly. This has caused our margins for operations and distribution maintenance to narrow at a steady rate.
